About the Author
I am a Professional Engineer by training and one of Canada's few Master Communicators, with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of business, leadership, and communication.
During my 20-year career with Procter & Gamble, I developed the disciplined thinking and broad business perspective that continue to shape my work today. Deloitte later recruited me as the firm's first Chief Communications Officer, where I established the national communications function, advised senior partners on reputation and risk, and served as the firm's national spokesperson.
Today, I provide one-on-one coaching and strategic communications advice to C-suite leaders and boards. I help executives prepare for high-stakes conversations, presentations, leadership transitions, and other moments where communication matters most. Over the past decade, I have coached successive incoming board chairs of a national organization and continue to advise executives across professional services, financial services, associations, and the not-for-profit sector.
As an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), Master Communicator (MC), and licensed Professional Engineer, I bring both analytical rigour and practical insight to my work. Clients value my ability to help them think clearly, communicate authentically, and lead with confidence when the stakes are high.
